ROMHELD Automation is distributing German manufacturer WEH’s line of fluid connectors for pressure and leak testing in Australia.
The units are designed to provide leak-proof connection to components and systems during filling, leak/pressure testing and plugging operations. They are compatible with manual, automatic and semi-automatic processes.
The company says the devices are available for direct connection to both internal and external fittings. There are various models which are suitable for plain, flared or swaged tubes as well as threads and bores.
According to the supplier, the connectors can handle vacuum pressures up to 630 bar and accommodate a wide range of fluids. They are included with both manual and automated actuators.
The distributor claims the products can be applied to the testing of cylinders, valves, pressure vessels, hoses, fittings and other components that must meet specified pressure or leakage criteria.
