ROTORK says its CVA control valve actuator has been named a winner in the 2009 Flow Control Innovation Award.
The award program is an annual competition sponsored by Flow Control magazine which recognises the year’s most compelling advances in fluid handling technology.
According to Rotork, its CVA electric control valve actuator provides precise control valve operation and includes wireless Bluetooth communication technology which can be used for quick and easy actuator set-up and adjustment.
The CVA actuator is available in linear and quarter-turn versions, is easily integrated into most process control environments and eliminates the need for costly air supplies.
All CVA actuators incorporate a data logger which provides an extensive record of operational and maintenance-related information including valve torque profiles, dwell times and relevant statistical information.
Rotork’s CVA actuator was one of twelve products to receive awards.
