DWYER Instruments has released a range of duplexing pump controllers designed for applications where two pumps are required to alternate for equal run times.
The Series DPC pump controller features a 240V AC relay to change the pump each time a control switch opens. Two LED indicators show the load energised by the SPDT output relay.
The company says alternating the load allows for equal wear on both pumps, extending their operation life.
The range is available in two models. The standard DPC-ACS unit has an automatic alternating sequence, while the DPC-ALS also comes with an ‘A-B’ or ‘B-A’ sequence lock, selectable by a three-position toggle switch.
According to the distributor, the device can be easily installed with a standard eight-pin octal mount.
