HBM PLASTICS Technologies has launched a foam-core pipeline series manufactured by Krauss Maffei Extrusion.
The company says the series is designed to reduce the cost and consumption of raw materials as well as maintain the overall quality of the pipeline.
The PVC foam-core pipe has a 400mm diameter and an 11.7mm wall thickness. It can achieve flowrates between 900 and 1000L per hour.
The unit is also fitted the KMD 90-36 B/R and KMD 75-36 B/R twin-screw extruders as well as the KM 3 LRK 43 multilayer pipehead.
According to the distributor, the foam has reduced the overall density by 30%. It is particularly suitable for the pressure-less wastewater market.
